Trails don’t build themselves. Bike events and programs don’t produce themselves. The governments hosting our trails don’t build or maintain trails, either. RAMBO members & volunteers do what it takes to create and work the trails and events so we may ride, families can have fun, and kids are happy. These selfless folk share a camaraderie with riders of all skill sets and abilities. Some of us work behind the scenes. Others are out front. All share a passion for mountain biking.
Let’s be clear, sponsors are invaluable, SORBA dues help, but trails and programs for mountain biking will always require special advocates, the anonymous “they” or “them” that visitors may refer to when talking about our trails, or events, or advocacy efforts.
